What do you do when your co-pilot becomes incapacitated and the auto pilot goes inop. You aviate, navigate, and communicate, right? RIGHT! That's the situation Marc found himself in with Al out of pocket. And he took advantage of the opportunity to bring a diverse set of topics to the airwaves, which will serve to drive some interesting hangar flying discussions. Marc welcomed Janine Iannarelli of Paravionltd.com back to the show with her Q4 bizjet market update. Listen in as Janine provides her own perspective on the changing face of the aviation business market. Also, since our last conversation with Janine, she moved two Falcon 2000 LX jets and was appointed to the Texas State Aerospace and Aviation Advisory Committee. Congrats to Janine on both counts. Marc then navigated into multiple discussion areas that are sure to elicit a response. Starting with the fuel price decline and the triggers behind the movement, and then his concern with the FAA reversing their decision on the maximum # of hours allowed in a sim towards instrument training. Lastly, he showed his frustration with the FAA's decision to elicit the help of local law agencies to monitor and enforce airspace rules on the drone market. On the positive side, congrats to GA for coming off their safest year ever!!! Now that's good news. Lots more was presented, so take a listen and let us know what you think! We're always listening. http://traffic.libsyn.com/simpleflight/2015_01_18_Janine_and_solo_Marc.mp3
