Tonight must have been one of the coolest stories ever! Krike Machon came on the show this evening to talk about this P.I. Detective work he has been doing to track down an airplane. For the past year he has been looking for an old Douglas C-54. Which is an old Douglas DC-4 painted and issued to the military. Back in the 1940's Kirke's town rallied and raised over $500,000 in war bonds to have their name painted on this airplane. Over 60 years later, Kirke is trying to track down this airplane and bring a part of it home. Its a neat way aviation teaches us lessons not just in aviation but how we need to act as a community as well. Who wants to help Kirke get a piece of this airplane in Arizona?
