How many people have a table that has a special aviation history behind it?  Well, if you bought your table from Kurt Eldrup at Phighter Images (www.aviationflyingfurniture.com), then you are someone that can say yes to that question.  Kurt's labor of love started from a passion for military aviation history.  Combining that with his family's "Creative" gene, Kurt found his calling in life.  Not just creating furniture from old aviation parts, Kurt researches each piece to understand its "life" and translates that to a story that comes with every piece of furniture he builds.  Listen to Kurt talk about his work and you'll quickly hear his total commitment to bringing life to each piece he builds.
 
Marc and Lora also talked about the poor journalistic effort produced by USA Today as evidenced by their recent article, which painted a biased, one-sided, and negative picture of General Aviation.  The obvious intent to sell newspapers unfortunately meant that the truth was not going to be told.  The team also talked to current events, including how drones are becoming an aviation career path.  Lora helped Marc think through how best to get his commercial and multi rating as they discussed the various options available.
