Combining a passion for humanitarian activities with flight can translate to an extremely rewarding career. Just ask tonight's guest, Mike Mower, who has been with JAARS for over 30 years. JAARS (www.jaars.org), an organization focused on providing bible translation to remote communities around the globe, uses aviation to reach the population it serves. Their missions also include medical, humanitarian, and government support. Listen in as Mike speaks about the lifelong commitment many of the employees bring to the organization. Other feel good moments of the show, include progress in general aviation shipments, the dismissal of the Santa Monica lawsuit to close the airport, first flight for a set of 4 year old twins, and Al's Avgeek socks. We also reviewed the Flap about Flaps issue that generated so much interest from last week. Is it legal to fly with the flaps inop? Check out BoldMethod.com for the results of the 1600+ voters. Spoiler alert: the vote was close and a lot of people got it wrong. Everyone did get it right in the decision to listen to SimpleFlight Live Aviation radio. We appreciate it and look forward to your continued and active participation. This is your show and you make it great! Blue Skies & Tailwinds!
