The Principle of IFR October 5th, 2014

There are lots of books about the how and what of the science of IFR flying.  Tonight's guest Tim Heron (www.doubleillc.com) took a different look when he wrote his book, "Instrument Flying,  10 Indispensable Principles To Know And Remember".  Tim talks to Al and Marc about the genesis of the book and how it contributes to helping people become better instrument pilots... and how to stay that way.  We know you'll enjoy the conversation and find value in what Tim has to say.

The guys talked about the passing of Jerrie Mock, the first woman to fly around the world.  It's been 50 years and she never got the accolades she deserved.  AOPA gave away their Debonair today (10/5), and did so in a very unique way.  Wish I had been on the receiving end of that Unicom call.  Do you know what the number one requested drink is on the airlines?  You'll be surprised when Al tells you.... and why!
