Thanks to Kim Pardon of the Commemorative Air Force (commemorativeairforce.org) for enlightening us all on the significance of the organization. Al and Marc learned that each warbird has a soul and a story to tell, which should not be forgotten. With over 150 airplanes, the CAF has a lot of stories to tell. Listen in to find out how over 6400 volunteers work together to make sure those stories are told and that people are listening. The only questions is.... "of all the warbirds flying, what would you prefer to fly?" On the current events side of things, the Southwest pilots who landed at the wrong airport, found out their fate, as did the CNN aviation expert, whose employer wasn't enthralled with his casual attire. Santa Monica faces continued legal challenges while other airports are kicking off the "Fly-Out" season. Marc also clued us into his favorite FBO when traveling to see family. Our loyal listeners are becoming a bigger and more active part of the show each week. We are excited with our growth and thank you for being part of the family. http://traffic.libsyn.com/simpleflight/2014_04_20_Kim_CAF.mp3
