It's hard to believe it was two years ago that SimpleFlight Radio launched from the same backdrop as tonight's show.... Airventure @ Oshkosh!
 
What a blast for us to return to our original venue and to bring you our special guest, Eric Auxier, or as you know him, Cap'n Aux.  As he puts it, he's an Airline pilot by day—writer by night—kid by choice.  Listen in as Cap'N Aux shares his story of how he got started in aviation and writing at an early age, and the path he took to arrive where he is today as a captain with a  major airline and an accomplished author.  Other topics covered include aviation's challenges and opportunities for young and old alike.  Marc and Al are always pleased to talk with pilots that still love what they do and share that passion with our special community.  That describes our conversation tonight.  Be sure to read about his adventures at www.capnaux.com.
 
Marc shared some current events, including the incredibly tough couple of weeks aviation has seen filled with both controversy and tragedy.  But the focus was on Oshkosh and the energy that permeated the weekend as pilots everywhere started their trek to the world's busiest airport.   We had a lot of fun tonight, and know that you will too.
