Aviation's Gen Y, August 3rd, 2014

Tonight's guest will give everyone confidence that the future of aviation is in good hands.  Doing more at age 17 than most people do at 27, Swayne Martin (swaynemartin.com) has established himself as an influential aviation blogger.  Based on his success, he was sought out by Bold Method (boldmethod.com) to develop and deliver blog posts that resonate with both experienced and prospective pilots.  Wise beyond his years, Swayne brought tremendous insight and maturity to the conversation regarding how today's generation learns and achieves.  All of us can benefit from his life's lessons.
Trevor Wesolowski stood in for Al and joined Marc in reviewing a very busy and exciting week.  Covering a small snippet of Oshkosh's many announcements, they highlighted the new 300HP Diesel from Continental, 3rd class medical reform, in-flight internet offerings, Icon LSA competitors, and AOPA's effort to reduce the cost of flying through a "re-imagination" program.  Marc talked about the many people he met at OSH, making general aviation even more special. And on the heels of last week's 2 year birthday for SimpleFlight Radio, congrats to Marc, who celebrated his 2nd year this week (Al went solo during week one).
