N-Ice to be here! February 9th, 2015

With Al stuck in places unknown, Marc's long time flying buddy, Tim, joined as a guest host tonight.  The duo started off with an amazing story of good things turned bad.  From a great IFR training day, to a tense ice laden approach to an alternate destination, Marc and Tim discussed how fast things changed, and the implications of incorrect assumptions during the preflight planning process.  Listen and learn from their good and bad choices.  Let us know what you think.
 
The conversation led to a further discussion about how we learn from each other's mistakes.  Not surprisingly, this kind of learning makes for a great flight school, as Tim relayed the qualities shared by great instructors and flight schools.  The guys completed the show with a mini flight planning quiz and covered some current aviation news events.
