We're always told that we don't want to hear a pilot say, "Watch This!".  It surely means something bad is about to happen.  Another something you don't want to hear is, "Did you hear that?" or "What was that?".   Hearing a strange noise or feeling a strange vibration can elicit a wide range of reactions.  As a pilot, we have to quickly determine what just happened and what we are going to do about it.  Yet, its not unusual for a pilot to do nothing, and hope it doesn't happen again.  With Al traveling tonight, Marc was joined by two fellow club pilots, to lead a discussion of things that "scare" us in the cockpit.  From engine outs, to fires, and with tongue firmly placed in cheek, to even breathalyzer tests; Pilot fears run the gamut.  What is yours?

The conversation shifted to a much more pleasant topic of airplane ownership.  What to buy, how to buy, and even dream a little about the possibilities were part of the discussion.  All in all, it was a hangar talk discussion that touched on a little of everything.  Let us know what you think about each topic, and we'll share your views at a future show.  Speaking of future shows, tune in next week, when one of my favorite people stops by the SimpleFlight studios.  Karlene Petitt will be here to talk about her new book, Flight For Success!  And she will be bringing an autographed copy specifically for Marc.  Listen in and find out what Marc did to earn this special recognition.
